3-Hydroxypyridine (CAS 109-00-2) is a heterocyclic organic compound with the molecular formula C5H5NOC sub 5 H sub 5 NOC5H5NO. It is a monohydroxylated pyridine derivative featuring a hydroxy group (-OH) attached to the 3rd position of the pyridine ring. It is widely used as a key building block in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and cosmetic products. 

Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK) is a colorless, volatile, and flammable liquid organic solvent with a characteristic odor (C6H12Ocap C sub 6 cap H sub 12 cap O𝐶6𝐻12𝑂). Primarily used in surface coatings, varnishes, and nitrocellulose lacquers, it is highly effective at dissolving resins, rubbers, and polymers. Dimethylacetamide (DMAc) is a colorless, high-boiling, and polar aprotic solvent (CH3CON(CH3)2CH sub 3 CON open paren CH sub 3 close paren sub 2CH3CON(CH3)2) with a faint ammonia-like odor, widely used for dissolving polymers and in industrial chemical reactions. It is highly miscible with water, ethers, and aromatics, making it crucial for producing acrylic/elastane fibers and in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
